Risk Outside the Home is an issue which can impact young people within their homes and communities including online, exploitation and within their relationships. The Community Safeguarding team want to ensure that young people are able to recognise and navigate areas of risk and that families are informed and supported, to support their children and young people.
This is a workshop for parents and carers to help raise awareness of risks to young people from outside the family home and share information about how they can access support if they have any concerns. The session will explore –
- What is ‘Risk Outside the Home’ and why is it important?
- How to spot the signs of grooming
- How to respond to risk and where to get help
We will be delivering the session via Microsoft Teams, joining instructions will be given once you have booked in. Please ensure that you have downloaded the Microsoft Teams app prior to the session.
